December 19, 1999 - What was I thinking when I got a white dog??

September 15, 2000 - Joxer loves kiddie pools, tubs and any small body of standing water in the summer, which is pretty typical of Amstaff's I understand.

Marty and I are pretty sentimental about this dog. One of the reasons I became curious about this "most beautiful of ugly dogs" as the American Staffordshire Terrier has been called was the amazing loyalty owners show this breed. As the old cigarette ads put it, "we'd rather fight than switch."

December 24, 2000 - I don't know what makes me do this sort of thing - Joxer endures it as well as he is able.

April 29, 2001 - Joxer was an only dog for 3 months after we lost our old dogs in 2000 ( Mako, Echo and Boomer); he did not enjoy it. Since Lola joined our family they have been nearly inseperable. Even when she pesters him mercilessly as puppies are prone to do, he does not abandon or punish her.
